Open Digital Platform: A powerful smart city operating system of the future
-
ODP is a government-developed smart city operating system for managing various urban functions through real-time data integration.
-
Drives Singapore's Smart Nation ambitions by enabling seamless integration of sensors and systems.
-
Aims to achieve 50% less manpower and 30% lower energy consumption.
-
Serves as the digital backbone for the Punggol Digital District (PDD), Singapore's first smart and sustainable district.
In order for us to build a truly Smart Nation, we need to constantly push the envelope. In this regard, we're proud to have partnered with JTC and developed the Open Digital Platform (ODP), a proprietary and one-of-its-kind smart city operating system that integrates various district management operations.
Boasting digital twin capabilities, the ODP can manage district cooling, security, car park systems and more, and even make robotic automation a reality.
Already an award-winning technology, the ODP serves as the digital backbone of the upcoming Punggol Digital District (PDD). Streams of data are collected in real-time to help facility managers, security personnel and the like to deliver smooth estate services and optimise their critical operations.
Why use ODP?
The ODP offers the following benefits for users:
-
Easily collaborate with your contributors in a trusted, open environment.
-
Test-bed your solutions in risk-free, virtual simulations before deploying them.
-
Gain visibility over all systems and the ability to enable remote monitoring and control.
-
Review and analyse historical data, make improvements and create solutions to address bottlenecks.
-
Get real-time analyses and responses, such as automatic switch-offs for devices that are no longer in use.
What's the latest on ODP?
Ahead of its 2024 rollout in PDD, the ODP has already been deployed at The JTC Summit and Woodlands North Coast since 2022 and 2023 respectively. We are also looking to enhance the platform so that it can be scaled up to become the Singapore government's default smart facilities management solution.
